Pickle Industrial Park MBR Retrofit in Sichuan
summary:6,000t/d MBR (Membrane Bio-Reactor)
Capacity: 6,000 t/d
Process: MBR (Membrane Bio-Reactor)
Effluent Water Quality: Compliant with Grade 1A standard of the "Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants" (GB 18918-2002)
Project Date: September 2020
Highlights:
The wastewater from the pickle industrial park primarily originates from two sources:
1. Raw Material Cleaning & Preparation: Water used for washing and sorting agricultural byproducts, which contains sediment, organic residues, and agricultural waste. After basic treatment, this water can be discharged directly into surface water.
2. Brine Wastewater & Rinse Water: High-salinity wastewater from pickling processes and desalination rinse water. If left untreated, these effluents decompose under the combined effects of water, heat, light, and microorganisms, causing severe environmental pollution.
Technical Solution:
The project adopts ceramic membrane MBR technology to treat the wastewater. A portion of the treated water is recycled, achieving dual benefits:
1. Environmental Protection: Mitigates pollution risks by eliminating harmful contaminants and stabilizing wastewater quality.
2. Economic Efficiency: Reduces freshwater consumption and operational costs while enhancing production sustainability.
