Highlights:

→ This project treats domestic wastewater from a homestay, the original system used organic hollow fiber membranes, which experienced severe membrane fouling and frequent membrane breakage within less than a year of operation. This led to unstable system performance, fluctuating effluent quality, and continuously rising maintenance costs due to frequent cleaning and replacements. The system was later upgraded to WECLEAN ceramic flat membranes, operating at a flux of 30 LMH.

→ Since commissioning, effluent turbidity has remained stable below 0.2 NTU, with clear water quality and stable operation, fully meeting the requirements for fish survival. This upgrade fundamentally addressed the shortcomings of the original organic membrane system in terms of fouling resistance, operational stability, and long-term cost-effectiveness.
